From first call to final walkthrough—here’s what to expect when you work with us.
We review existing conditions (cracks, settlement, drainage), confirm what’s being replaced, and discuss layout and finish options.
If replacing an existing driveway, we remove old concrete (as scoped), then prep the subgrade for the new pour.
We set forms for clean edges, place reinforcement where needed, pour the concrete, finish the surface, and cut/plan joints appropriately.
We provide practical guidance on cure timing so you know when it’s appropriate to return to vehicle traffic.
Driveways take daily abuse from vehicles, heat, and weather. When a driveway starts failing—cracking, settling, or spalling—it often makes more sense to remove and replace sections (or the full driveway) rather than repeatedly patching symptoms.
South Coastal Builders LLC provides driveway installation and replacement in Pearland and surrounding South Houston communities. We focus on the details that matter: base prep, reinforcement where appropriate, consistent finishing, and a practical joint layout.
A clean, stable driveway improves parking, entry, and curb appeal—without tripping hazards or uneven transitions.
Driveways and flatwork near a home should be planned so water doesn’t sit where it shouldn’t. We consider grading and runoff during layout.
We keep the plan simple: what’s included, what’s changing, and what timeline to expect.
Concrete work requires coordination and timing. We keep things organized from demo through cleanup.

Yes. We can typically handle demolition, haul-off, base prep, and re-pour as one complete scope.
Many homeowners choose a broom finish because it’s clean-looking and provides traction. Decorative options (like stamped accents) may also be possible depending on the design goal.
Control joints help manage shrinkage cracking as concrete cures. The goal is to encourage cracking to occur in planned locations rather than randomly across the slab surface.
It depends on conditions and the specific mix and cure environment. We’ll provide realistic guidance after the pour so you know when to return to vehicle traffic safely.

“**UPDATE** The owner came through!! He let me know he had a family emergency he was dealing with that caused the delay. Once that was dealt with, he gave a day and time he would fix the door and came through as promised. . My experience started off as a great one. The work was done timely and good quality. The follow-up is where things fell apart. One month after the building settled, one of the doors that was a custom build no longer opened. I contacted the builder several times by text or phone to be promised he would come by to take care of it. I have yet to see them.”
“Brian did a great job replacing our fence for a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again.”
